Floor Standing Shelter Unit
The air handling unit casing is manufactured using aluminum profiles, with the inner surface covered by 0.8 mm galvanized steel sheet and the outer surface covered by 0.8 mm painted steel sheet. The casing panels are filled with 25 mm thick polyurethane insulation.
The supply fan is of double-inlet, high-pressure, and belt–pulley driven type. The electric motor can be selected as single-phase or three-phase, depending on requirements.
Inside the unit, a G4 or F7 cassette filter is used as a pre-filter. For operation during hazardous conditions, the system is equipped with an activated carbon filter and a radioactive HEPA filter. Optionally, a lead separator can be added, and the inner walls can be lined with lead sheets.
System operation begins when the fan is activated. This type of unit is designed to be used only during hazardous or emergency conditions.
The fresh air drawn into the system passes sequentially through the cassette filter, activated carbon filter, and radioactive HEPA filter before being supplied indoors.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
In all units, the activated carbon filters and radioactive HEPA filters are installed in their original packaging.
These packages must be removed and the filters activated only during hazardous conditions.
Otherwise, the service life of the filters will be limited to 6 months.
